Yesterday, the Clothing Construction class had the opportunity to attend the Textiles, Merchandising, and Fashion Design Student Expo at UNL. Students created their own fashion designs and brands, learned from a digital design class, and explored a variety of fabrics. It was a highly educational experience that will benefit them in their future sewing projects.

Callista had a great day shadowing a horse vet, Dr. Sarah Czarnick. She had the opportunity to participate in a dental examination on her horse. They actually grind their teeth down, so there are no sharp edges! She was able to get some experience with small animals as well.
