Lindsay Academy’s 7th and 8th grade Robotics class is learning to code in Python to operate their Luma robots. In addition, students have been applying their engineering skills to design solutions for how the Egyptians might have moved the massive stones used in building the pyramids. Each group was tasked with creating and presenting a model that explained how their method would work, how many people it would require, and what building constraints or materials would have been available at that time and location. Students are actively engaged every day, using creativity and problem-solving skills in their robotics class.

Last week, a group of our students (Grades 7, 11, and 12) visited the St. Benedict Center in Schuyler, NE for a day of faith, reflection, and community. Surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the monastery, they learned about the life and wisdom of St. Benedict, discovered the value of silence and prayer, and reflected on how God is calling them to live with purpose and love. They were also able to learn about the stunning, state-of-the-art St. John’s Bible. 💙 The students returned inspired—reminded that faith is alive, active, and meant to be lived every day. 🙏✨ #CatholicEducation #FaithJourney #StBenedictCenter
