What an unforgettable day! Our 7th graders lit up the stage with festive cheer and incredible talent at this year’s Christmas Concert. Under the wonderful direction of Miss Claire, the students delivered a performance full of heart, holiday magic, and plenty of proud smiles from the audience!
We were also treated to some truly amazing special guest performances:
Justine enchanted us with her beautiful violin solo
Lexi filled the room with holiday warmth on piano
Verne & Chance brought the house down with their singing and guitar duet
Thank you to all the performers, families, and supporters who made this day so special.

After Mass this morning, Father Taylor joined our students at school for donuts and juice in celebration of Priest Appreciation. It was a great opportunity for students and staff to spend time with him, share conversation, and thank him for his ministry and the way he serves our parish community.
Thank you, Father Taylor, for all you do! ❤️

Lindsay Academy students had a powerful experience this past Tuesday evening at Saint Bonaventure Church in Columbus, where they heard from inspirational speakers Rachel Herbeck and Peter Herbeck.
Rachel shared a moving message about God’s unwavering love, drawing from St. Paul’s Letter to the Colossians. She encouraged our students to set their minds on God, to choose Him daily, and to live with confident, expectant faith—trusting in the signs and wonders God continues to work in our world.
Her father, Peter, spoke frankly about the culture of death that surrounds us and how the enemy works through deceit. He reminded our students of the profound truth that we are beloved, chosen, and saved. He closed the session by leading everyone in heartfelt prayer.
We are deeply grateful to the Lindsay Academy school board members and staff who accompanied our students and who continue to support opportunities that strengthen faith and character.
We look forward to future events like this and remain committed to offering meaningful outreach and faith-building experiences for our students.

Ten 9th through 12th grade students attended the "Discover Nursing Day @ UNMC" today in Norfolk, a special event designed for high school students interested in pursing a career in nursing. This was a hands-on experience with students getting to work with medical training manikins on checking their vitals to practice giving insulin shots to artificial skin, etc. They learned the options that were available if interested in getting a Bachelors Degree in Nursing at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Norfolk.

Amazing Race photos continued

Today Lindsay Academy students competed in the Amazing Math and Science Race. The race was on and students solved Sudoku problems, a Tangram puzzle, Combination Lock math problems, Periodic Table Mystery math problem, Bridge Building, etc. Fastest finisher won. Lindsay Academy’s 7th and 8th grade Robotics class is learning to code in Python to operate their Luma robots. In addition, students have been applying their engineering skills to design solutions for how the Egyptians might have moved the massive stones used in building the pyramids. Each group was tasked with creating and presenting a model that explained how their method would work, how many people it would require, and what building constraints or materials would have been available at that time and location. Students are actively engaged every day, using creativity and problem-solving skills in their robotics class.

Congratulations Lindsay Academy students on your hard work and growth during MAP testing! Special shout out to the Junior Class for the top growth in Reading, Math, and Science achieving the Top Dog Award!! The Juniors and Freshmen also celebrated their growth with a MAP VIP Lunch Experience. Keep up the good work!
