🌟 Staff Appreciation Week at Lindsay Academy 🌟
This week, we are proud to celebrate the incredible team that makes Lindsay Academy such a special place. Each day, we will highlight the dedicated individuals who serve our students and community:
Monday – Administration
Tuesday – Teachers & Counselor
Wednesday – Support Staff
Thursday – Cooking Staff
Friday – School Board
We are deeply grateful for every member of our team. Together, we have built something truly special. In a small, rural community, the work is not always easy—yet our staff continues to make daily sacrifices to be here, serving with passion, faith, and commitment.
We truly believe this is the team God has brought together, each person placed here at this moment to do great things for our students and our school.
If you see any of our staff out in the community this week, please take a moment to thank them and recognize their hard work in making Lindsay Academy the great school it is.
💙 Thank you for all you do!

Stations of the Resurrection – All Are Welcome!
Every Friday during the Easter Season at 2:50 PM, our students will lead the Stations of the Resurrection, and we warmly invite everyone to join us!
The Stations of the Resurrection (also known as the Way of Light, Via Lucis in Latin) is a beautiful Catholic devotion for the Easter Season. While we reflect on Christ’s Passion and Death during Lent through the Stations of the Cross, this devotion invites us to meditate on the joyful events from Easter Sunday through Pentecost.
Through 14 stations, we journey with the Risen Christ—celebrating His victory over sin and death, His appearances to the disciples, and the gift of new life.
✨ The joy of Easter begins now—a whole season celebrating the Risen Lord!
Come pray with us and experience the hope and light of the Resurrection. 😇

We are excited to announce that Lindsay Academy was awarded a grant by the Nebraska Environmental Trust for the purchase of a greenhouse. We are in the planning stages and need your help!!
We are looking for volunteers interested in helping with the different site prep and construction of the greenhouse building (once it arrives).
There are additional materials needed that we would be accepting donations for such as: railroad ties for the foundation base, cinder blocks, gravel, and either 50lb or 100lb propane tanks. Additionally, once the greenhouse is up we would gratefully accept hoses, small hand tools along with lumber or other building materials to build benches and shelving.
We would like to thank NET for the grant funding and prior grant funding from FCSA. Lindsay Academy was awarded a grant through the Nebraska Environmental Trust (NET) to fund the purchase of a greenhouse with funding also provided by grants from Farm Credit Services of America (FCSA) for agricultural education and hands-on learning opportunities.
The scope of this project will include the purchase and construction of a greenhouse to be used by the Science and FFA programs to implement educational opportunities while advancing sustainability and environmental health. The facility will function as a sustainability resource for our high school and a living laboratory. It will provide students with experiential learning in plant science, agriculture, environmental stewardship, while advancing the school’s commitment to healthier learning environments and community well-being.
If you would like to be added to the list of volunteers or would like to learn more about the items that are still in need to make this project successful, please email Danielle Herchenbach dherchenbach@lindsay.esu7.org or call the school at 531-345-3010.

March 25 holds profound meaning in our Catholic faith as we celebrate the Feast of the Annunciation—the moment the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, and she said “yes” to God’s plan. Through her faithful “yes,” the world was forever changed, as this marks the Incarnation—when Jesus Christ first entered our human story.
This date also beautifully connects to the sanctity of life, reminding us that from the very beginning, life is sacred and worthy of protection. In a world that often challenges this truth, March 25 calls us back to courage, faith, and the power of saying “yes” to God in our own lives.
At Lindsay Academy, we are grateful for Mary’s example of trust and obedience. May we strive to follow her lead, embracing God’s will with faith, humility, and love. 💙

Last night, a group of Lindsay Academy students gathered at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey for a meaningful evening of faith and fellowship. We began together in prayer, walking through the Stations of the Cross—a powerful reminder of Christ’s sacrifice and a beautiful way to grow deeper in our Catholic faith during this season.
Afterward, the students headed to the gym for some fun and friendly competition with spikeball and volleyball—building community, laughter, and lasting memories.
We are so grateful for opportunities like this to bring our students together in both faith and fun. Thanks the Humphrey Youth Group for the invitation! We look forward to attending again and hopefully hosting in the future!
